Although breathing is usually an unconscious, automatic function that keeps us alive, we can also consciously, intentionally choose to breathe fully for an hour long session and shift old habitual unconscious breath patterns. Unlike medical respiratory therapy that treats respiratory illnesses, Transformational Breathing is instead a "conscious breathing" technique used to access unconscious physical and emotional holding patterns and transform them.
PHYSICALLY, Transformational Breathing sessions coach the use of the respiratory diaphragm, which naturally restores the natural movement that massages the internal organs with each breath and enhances detoxification and oxygenation.
EMOTIONALLY, conscious breathing can transform our limiting beliefs, withheld emotions, trauma and fears into beneficial life-force. The benefits can also include an enhanced sense of aliveness, energy and perspective. Receptivity, relaxing and letting go of old negativity also become easier. This breath can then consciously be used to deal with stress and anxiety, to process emotions, and to enhance meditation, setting intentions, mindfulness practices, grounding and centering.
SPIRITUALLY, connected breathing increases the flow of life-force, also known as chi and prana, allowing greater access to clarity, inner wisdom, expanded states of awareness and the experience of one's spiritual nature.

We offer private and semi-private breathing sessions, monthly group breathing workshops, and breathwork retreats.
